Who we are...
LaSalle Medical Associates is one of the largest Independent Practice Association groups in the San Bernardino, Riverside & Los Angeles counties. We currently have five medical offices including two clinics in San Bernardino, and one each in Fontana, Hesperia, and Lake Elsinore. One of our biggest projects is getting children enrolled in the Healthy Families Program. We are currently the #1 online enroller in the state, and one of the top enrollment entities overall! In April 2002 we expanded into the Los Angeles area, contracting with the White Memorial Medical Center.
I.P.A. Definition
Independent Practice Association — A network of primary care providers (Family Practitioners, Pediatricians, Internists, and Obstetricians/Gynecologists) and specialty care providers, working together to provide complete patient care.
Founder
Albert H. Arteaga, MD opened his first pediatric medical clinic in Fontana in June of 1984 with his wife, Maria. He has provided continuous service since that time to the children of the Inland Empire, and expanded first to San Bernardino, then to Hesperia and Lake Elsinore. The practice has grown to include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Overview
The benchmark by which we measure ourselves is the availability of service that we can provide to those patients who are traditionally underserved due to lack of resources and/or cultural barriers.
Our commitment in medical managed care is two-fold. First, we are committed to providing high-quality, yet cost-efficient medical care to our patients. Second, and equally important, we are committed to supporting the primary care provider as he or she delivers care to the patient. LaSalle would like the primary care provider to feel that he or she is paramount in the delivery of care to the patient, and that his or her decisions about necessary medical care are preserved.
